Santa Claus Robs Bank

Santa Claus Robs Bank

Christmas is here and apparently there are some good Santa’s busy wrapping gifts and the other Not So Nice ones, are out robbing banks! A thief dressed as santa, threatening bank tellers with an unknown “wrapped gift”, passed a note to the teller, left the package in he bank and swiftly escaped.
A Bank in Port Orange Florida was the victim of a holiday robbery by old St. Nick! To think Santa would rob the bank with his own present though?
“The package in red wrapping paper was placed on the counter and the bad Santa passed a note implying that it contained something dangerous, the Orlando Sentinel reported.”
Officials recovered the package, and although they are not stating what is in the package they are stating that it is not dangerous

BBATheChase : The chase ends for Pokello and Bassey!

#BBATheChase : The chase ends for Pokello and Bassey!
Tonight, Africa bids #Sierra Leoan’s #Bassey and Zimbabwe’s #Pokello farewell.undoubtedly the life of the show this season,#Bassey’s eviction left some of the housemates in shock. #Bimp who was Diamond’s house HOH for last week saved himself and placed #Bassey on the chopping block on Monday evening and this means #Bassey didn’t see this one coming.

The highlight of tonight’s eviction show was however the eviction of #Zimbabwe’s #Pokello. The socialite and fashionista was up for eviction for the fourth time and this time, her luck finally ran out. In the early days of the show,#Pokello was no doubt the darling of the viewers as they have saved her every other time she was up for possible eviction.Twice ,she emerged the contestant with the highest country votes,At one point,She bagged eight ”country votes” and that included the votes of #Nigeria and #Ghana.

Things took a drastic turn for her when she stupidly took a swipe at #Nigerians (The yeye girl no even dey fear) and other West African countries shortly after Melvin replaced her fellow countryman,#Hakeem and the handsome dude was subsequently evicted. She accused West African contestants of ganging up with their East African counterparts to flush out contestants from Southern Africa. She particularly singled out Nigeria and accused the organizers of the show of bias and manipulation of the votes to suit #Nigerians. She gave the example of 2010 when #Zimbabwean housemate, #Munya lost the battle for the top prize to #Uti.

Her comments provoked wild condemnation from west African viewers especially #Nigerians who has twice saved her.To make matters worse for her,Her boyfriend back home took to Facebook and twitter to blast Nigerians. In a Facebook post,Stunner as he is called wrote “Nigeria haisi Africa this weekend we prove that. Zimboz everywhere #SA #Bots #Namibia #Malawi and ROA? “Vote Pokello” to keep Zimbabwe on the map, #BBATHECHASE?????????

Her BBA official Facebook page has since been pleading with viewers to forgive her as she made the utterances under emotions following the eviction of her fellow country mate.“On behalf of #Pokello we would like to apologize to #Nigeria. #Pokello was emotional at the time and didn’t mean what she said. She was mourning about her countryman who left in an unexpected way,”.The post attracted close to a thousand comments but as it turns out,it was too late to correct the effect of her utterances.

For me, i will definitely miss #Bassey but for #Pokello’s exit,i am throwing a party. What’s your thoughts on tonight’s eviction?

Blackberry Messenger for Android to arrive by end of September

Do you care?: Blackberry Messenger for Android to arrive by end of September
It’s a culled article from one of my Fav’ sites Phandroid
When Blackberry Messenger for Android was announced, we were pretty excited. It wasn’t necessarily because BBM is still this great, mystical messaging service that only a few select people had access to, but because we’d finally be able to chat with our friends who were too stubborn to drop Blackberry. The release date was initially set for “this summer,” but we might have a tighter idea of what that means.
According to Indian publication IBN Live, Blackberry India’s managing director Sunil Lalvani has pegged Blackberry’s release date by the end of September. That wasn’t a terribly tough guesstimation considering the original launch window of “end of summer” lies on September 22nd,” but that could have meant any month between now and then.
BBM for android... It's COMING
BBM for android… It’s COMING
The biggest question is this: who still cares? After thinking about it, there really is no reason to be too excited. Perhaps we’d feel differently if it were still 2010 and Android didn’t already take off, but considering how the mobile industry has changed over the short course of just a few years the magnitude of the release isn’t nearly as big.
For starters, who still owns Blackberry devices? I know it’s still a big deal in enterprise, but the common consumer has voted with their wallet — even Windows Phone is more of a viable option at this point in time. (And that’s not a shot at Windows Phone, but it’s just the way things are.) I don’t know anyone who owns a Blackberry device anymore, so there’s no reason for me to want to sign up for BBM.
Conversely, those who still have a Blackberry device probably aren’t using BBM much anymore, either — all their friends have moved on to Android and iOS, and they’re already likely invested in a device-agnostic service that already exists.
Services like GroupMe and WhatsApp have quickly taken over as nice alternatives, and Google Hangouts will surely make its way to the likes of Blackberry and Windows phone eventually. If group messaging is still your thing, Blackberry Messenger is no longer the holy grail, and is little more than a token of nostalgic memories.
