Half Human, Half Compass: Kim and Kanye West’s Baby Named North West

Half Human, Half Compass: Kim and Kanye West’s Baby Named North West
According to reports surfacing online, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian have named their new born baby North West.
Sources close to the couple confirmed the decision, which comes five days after Kim welcomed her first child at a hospital in Los Angeles.
The revelation ends the intense speculation over the child’s name, with other rumoured options said to include Kaidence Donda, in honour of Kanye’s late mother.
And a  source told UsWeekly that the couple have already given their daughter a nickname – she will be ‘Nori for short’.They added that the child has no middle name.
TMZ witnessed a signed birth certificate with the name North West signed by Kim, 32, and Kanye, 36, at Cedars-Sinai hospital.
People magazine confirmed the news with a source close to the Kardashian family.
The name North had previously been suggested as a possibility for the child, although many Kardashian fans had dismissed the idea as a joke. (DailyMail

Baby Born With Quran In Shasha, Lagos (Photos)

quran
This happened yesterday at 9, Oguntade Street, Shasha area of Lagos State, and I have a picture of the baby with the Quran, another reader sent it in.
PMNews has confirmed the story. And here’s what they said happened.
The mother of the baby, Kabirat Lamidi, a 32-year old hairstylist, said right from the conception of the baby, she had been sick.
She said when the baby refused to come out after 11 months, she went for a scan where it was shown that she had an object in the womb with the baby.
The Ede, Osun State indigene who said she had been married for 10 years, said she was shocked to discover that few seconds after the baby was delivered, she pushed out a Quran.
Crowd at the home
“I have been hearing about such incidents and I have always insulted people thinking it could never happen. I believe it is a gift from Allah,” she said.
She said as a Muslim, she was not even dedicated and did not know how to pray, expressing surprise that such an incident could happen to her.
The mother of three said she had always given birth in the hospital but that on this day, she went into labour so fast that she could not move.
“My advice to people is that they should henceforth watch their mouth. I didn’t believe before now,” she said.
Mrs. Saudat Olawuwo, a staff nurse with the Shasha Medical Centre who assisted with the delivery, said she was called by neighbours when the woman was in labour.
Mrs. Olawuwo with 17 years working experience, said the woman was supposed to put to birth on 16 May, but it did not happen.
“By the time I came the day she was in labour, the baby was already coming out. So I assisted her.
“After that, we were expecting the placenta, but the woman began behaving like one about to run mad. I was so confused.
“The woman was shouting that she wanted to push again and all of a sudden, the Quran, wrapped in nylon and stained with blood jumped out.
“Out of confusion, I ran out and called people who came to see. We also called a Muslim cleric around the area who came and prayed for the baby,” she said.
Father of the baby, Luqman Lamidi, said he was in a drinking bar when he was called and told that his wife had delivered a baby with a Quran.
He said he did not believe until he came and saw the Quran covered with blood.
“I arrived home and saw a lot of crowd and could not even enter. In fact, I am surprised that a drunk like me could produce a child that came into this world with a Quran,” he said, adding that he had become a changed person.
Chief Imam of Oguntade, Shasha, Alhai AbdulRafiu Opeloyeru Oyedokun, said he was the one who tore the nylon from the Quran after he was called to the place.
“When I came, people were still doubting if the object was a Quran or not, so I tore the nylon with blood on it publicly and everyone confirmed it.”
As the yet to be named baby boy lay asleep, P.M.NEWS noticed that each time the Quran is placed on his chest, he consistently lifted his hands up and would not drop the hands until the Quran is taken off

7 Good Reasons NOT to Send Your Nudé Photos to Anyone (Ladies a Must Read)

Photo: (Ladies a Must Read) 7 Good Reasons NOT to Send Your Nudé Photos to<br />
Anyone www.millsmusicent.com/2013/06/7-good-reasons-not-to-send-your-nude-photos-to-anyone-ladies-a-must-read/
There are so many reasons not to send nudé pictures to anyone, but with nearly everyone having a cell phone, Facebook, Twitter, email and Instant Messaging, it’s all too easy to give in and snap a picture. Whether it’s for your boyfriend or a random flírty stranger online, girls of all ages are talked into exposíng themselves for the camera every day. It’s become incredibly common place and the trend needs to stop. Some women think that sending a náughty picture to their boyfriend will tempt him into some fun later on in the day, but there are other ways to get their attention! Please read these reasons not to send nudé pictures and make sure that if you give a little stríp tease you do it in person, not via camera.

1. SCREEN SHOT
One of the reasons not to send nudé pictures even on apps that supposedly erase what you send moments after it is received is that most people know how to take a screen shot with their phone. SnapChat is an app that allows you to send a private message or picture to a recipient and then deletes it in a matter of seconds so that no one else can read it or see the pictures. In theory this is pretty awesome, but all it takes is a quick screen shot of that nudé photo you send to that guy you’re trying to get with and now that picture is permanent. It can be posted online, texted back and forth between friends… you never know where it will end up.
2. SÉXTINGPICS.COM
There are websites, such as séxtingpics.com, that allow guys to post pictures sent to them in private séxting conversations. Those photos that you sent in the heat of the moment because you thought they would snag your guy for good… they could be online right now. And if you are thinking the likelihood of anyone you know finding them is pretty slim, think again. Séextingpics.com allows you to search through the pictures by area code, so if anyone in your town browses through those pictures, yours could pop up!
3. SOCIAL MEDIA
Everyone thinks the relationship they’re in is going to last, but the harsh truth is that most relationships, when they end, don’t end on the best of terms. Things can get nasty and complicated. If your ex gets mad or víndictive enough, those nudié pics you sent him two years ago that he saved could do some damage to your reputatíon. You don’t want all of your friends, his friends or the general public seeing you nakéd. It is way too easy to forward a photo to anyone and everyone using social media or text messaging.
4. LONGEVITY
Once a photo is put online you never know how long it will be there. Even if you manage to get it taken down from one website, who knows how many others it may be on. Even if you make your partner promise to delete the pic as soon as they see it, that isn’t a guarantee that they actually will.
5. BLACKMAIL
Don’t ever put yourself in that position by freely sending nudés of yourself to anyone. People can change. Someone who seems like a trustworthy, wonderful person right now may not be down the line.
6. WRONG HANDS
Phones get lost or stolen ALL the time. You don’t want someone to pick up your love interest’s phone and see those pictures of you. Just because your boyfriend/girlfriend is caring enough not to spread that picture around, that doesn’t mean that everyone who may see it will be as responsible. Even if it’s a friend who is just looking through the phone for something else, he or she may come across that picture. You don’t want to have to worry about that.
7. JAIL TIME
Teens at a younger and younger age are sending nakéd pictures to each other. If a guy or a girl is caught with a phone, computer or camera containing nakéd photos of underage teens (this means under 16, 17 or 18 depending on the legislation from country to country, from state to state), that is considered possession of child pornography. This can get you jail time and leave you a registered séx offender for the rest of your life.

We hope that these reasons not to send nudé photos to anyone will enter your mind next time you’re debating whether or not to send one.
Do you know of any other reasons not to send nudé pics?

Student Caught Trying To Flush New Born Baby Down The Toilet (PHOTO)

Wasted Sea Men: OAU Student Caught Trying To Flush New Born Baby Down The Toilet (PHOTO)
A female student of Obafemi Awolow University, Ile-Ife allegedly tried to flush a new born baby down the school toilets.
According to unconfirmed reports I got this morning from students of Obafemi Awolowo University, a female student of the school gave birth in the Moremi Hostel hall toilet and attempted to flush the baby but was caught my the hall cleaners.
They say the girl’s name is Oyin (let’s leave her surname out for now) and she’s a 400l student of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The incident happened very early this morning.
According to a student of the school who sent in the photo, a cleaner heard a baby crying inside one of the toilet stalls and then saw blood coming from under the door. She quickly went to call other cleaners around and they forced the door open.
When the cleaners entered the toilet they saw the student pouring water inside the closet, the baby turned upside down, with the head inside the closet.
One of the women dipped her hand inside and removed the baby…a boy, who was still very much alive but bleeding from the nose. The cleaners called school management who rushed both the girl and the baby to Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital for treatment. The placenta fell while they were rushing the girl to the hospital. (AfricZone)
